Our care philosophy
One team, built around your health.
Most primary care is built to treat a high volume of patients with quick band-aid treatments for problems. We built Akido Medical the other way around — for New Yorkers who want a doctor who actually knows them, and a team that looks at the whole picture of their health, not just the reason they walked in.
The whole person, not one problem
Your nutrition, blood pressure, blood sugar, stress, and sleep are connected — so we treat them that way. One visit can cover what matters, instead of sending you to five different places.
We take the time
Real appointments with a doctor who remembers you, and follow-ups that actually follow up. Care that doesn't feel like a conveyor belt.
Built for working New Yorkers
Same-week visits in Williamsburg or by video anywhere in New York State. Care in any language, with live interpretation. No insurance required. Care that fits a real schedule and a real budget.

The care team behind New York's drivers.
Akido Medical is the care team behind the Worker Healthy Living Program — free, whole-person care for New York's rideshare and taxi drivers, built with the Independent Drivers Guild and the Workers Benefit Fund. Now that same care team is here for everyone.
“Dr. Sarah took care of all the primary care things, like blood pressure, and even sent me for lab work. She's very professional.”
